Does anybody know anything about the USC's new health insurance?

I thought I could just visit USC's health center over the summer, but since I wasn't enrolled, they wanted me to pay several hundred dollars to visit it... I should've taken care of my health issue during the year, but the health center hours always conflicted with my class schedules, sigh.

Anyways, so I thought about visiting other hospitals around USC and at home (in Florida) since I'm flying back to Florida in about two weeks (then I'm studying abroad in Japan.)...

So here are my questions.

If I wanted to visit other hospitals around USC do I need a referral? Does it cost money to get a referral? Also, when I visit other hospitals, how much should I expect to pay for a simple visit?

USC's health insurance (Aetna) allows me to visit hospitals in Florida too, right?

Do you know how the insurance works out of the country for study abroad students?

Also, what is a deductible? I always went to korean hospitals during the summer in korea because that's where I was so I'm not really familiar with american health insurance lingo and how much I'm expected to pay... This is also why I've been putting off going to hospital for so long althoguh I should've gone awhile back... sigh. Thanks.
