I'm interested to know some stuff about the ACES program at Maryland from maybe someone who has taken it or is taking it.

Firstly, what are the stats to get into this program? I can't find anything about admissions to this program specifically. I have a 4.0 and 34 ACT so I guess I will be a contender anywhere but I just wanted to know whether or not to think of myself as a guaranteed acceptance so that I can plan my other college choices accordingly.

I don't understand the whole Living and Learning Community thing. Do you just dorm on the same floor as people in the same class, or is there more to it? I like the idea of already having a social group with similar interests but I wouldn't like to be forced into this group and not be able to make friends elsewhere.

I was also wondering about the classes. Is it just 14 extra credits I can take? Or is there more to it like research, internships, coops ect?
