Does anyone agree

And timed mulitplication tests.

Minute math quizzes..those were so stressful, even as a 3rd grader!!

The invention convention in 3rd grade was pretty bad...I totally had the best invention even though I don't remember what it was.

I was lied to...My 2nd grade teacher told me I'd need to write in cursive my whole life so it was very important to learn. I haven't written in cursive in years. I couldn't remember how to make the 'I' at the beginning of the verification thing.

I did that! I think I invented a wagon with a basket tied to it. Hahaha I'm a true innovator..

A wagon with a basket....hahahahaha lmfao

Hey, at age 8, you're brilliant.

I vaguely remember something about a shoebox and a timer being involved. My invention was supposed to help keep you organized or something.

My wagonbasket would totally own your shoebox any day.

Yeah probably. I'm not debating that one.

I remember I had to bring the wagon on the school bus, though, which was obviously a challenge, and my mom yelled at me for inventing something too big..

I remember having to invent something in MS! I don't remember what I invented.

My friend invented clips that keep your socks together, then I showed her that you don't need clips to do that.

I bet she was devastated.

You remember what your friend invented, but not what you invented? Are you too embarrassed to tell us? It's ok, we won't judge you for it.

And way to shatter your friends dreams and hopes of being rich one day. Some friend you are.

Actually, I could totally use some sock clips. Many, many sock clips..do you have her email?

In fact, I do have her email.

I seriously have no clue what I invented. It was stupid though. I might remember it later.

lablondie:
It took me 11 minutes to complete that cursive part...I finished 33 out of 95 questions on the WH SAT II in a similar amount of time.

I think it doesn't really matter if it's cursive or not, just that you're writing in normal handwriting... not like, block print. Right? I hope so... otherwise I failed that part of the test :P

that the hardest part of the SAT is writing the "I didn't cheat" statement in cursive??

Damn.

[/quote]
No.

And you didn't actually have to write it in cursive! They just wanted you to write it in your own handwriting.

I would just like to mention that everytime I took the SATs we always spend an eternity waiting for everyone to finish writing in their 1st grade cursive when all they had to do is write quickly in their own writing. It says "please don't print" not "write in cursive." That said, it is a ridiculous section to have to complete.
