Does anyone apply to Harvard for Engineering?

haha...thanks! This boy/girl/thing (I cannot reveal my gender b/c of stalkers like ivyleaguechamp...lol...:)) is heading to Bollywood if Harvard doesn't work out!

haha. nice!! so what shall we see LAgal starring in. Hmm. Balle balle, amritsar to LA?? lol... that title totally cracks me up!!

:) haha...you're funny! i dunno...i might want to do another hollywood imitation like bride and prejudice (i've been told more than once that i look like aishwariya!)...matrix would be nice, but i think awara paagal deewana covers that one...maybe something like "13 coming from 30"

Oops!! You revealed your gender there ;) Haha but it's pretty obvious :)

haha...or i could have set that up to trick people...besides, how many non-desis can figure out what gender aishwariya is w/o seeing his picture (lol!)

hahhaa, but umm LA "GAL" doesnt give it away?

:D God this is funny

shshsh...don't tell, stanfordwannabe! i thought it did, but someone asked me a/s/l...so, you never know...
besides, quietboy told me he/she/it is a girl...so i'm kinda thrown off

and in reference to the topic, i applied to harvard and wrote engineering for the reason that im simply using engineering as a background for an mba. and i said at the interview i may switch to econ. dunno harvard seems like its trying to improve its engineering up to the quality of the rest of the school, so i wanted to be part of that.

actually im just retarded and shouldve applied to stanford EA

astrix, it'll be even better in person...when we're all at harvard next year! we'll start a "desis from cc" club...omg! i'm so excited!
oh, "God?" don't you mean "gods and goddesses"? :)

hahahaha people crack me up

That's like, the height of being pc!! Gods and goddesses!

I am applying engg to harvard

:), astrix...but you are forgiven

maafi?? kiss baat ki?

ooo i see...

Is it just me who finds Dear Sir/Ma'am irritating... Now LAgal, if you were to have your way, we'd be doing Dear Sir/Ma'am/It :p

lol...of course! i was reading this sheet...i think it was asking for information for a college, and it was like:

Circle one--
Gender: Male Female Unknown Prefer Not To Respond

that completely cracked me up! What about people who choose not to be identified with either gender?
But yes, I do find Dear Sir/Ma'am irritating...if these people were going to go through the work of finding my address and what not, I'd expect them to know what gender I am...but maybe they just don't want to offend anyone...
I've gotten too many letters addressed Dear Sir and too many addressed Dear Ma'am...and, though I won't reveal my gender, I will say that I am not both! :)

nah, gods and goddesses isn't pc enough!

whichever higher entity/ies one decides to worship/believe in/praise/make references to, if one worships/believes in/praises/makes references to anything/one at all

well, actually it isn't that funny, because there are people who go through gender crises (a good friend of mine is actually). then there are transvestites and hermaphrodites, and then people who can get sex changes or were brought up as one gender then realized they could've been the other...

so it does make sense to put unknown or prefer not to respond, it's part of what makes our country diverse and very PC

i agree, cj...sorry if i offended anyone...i just didn't think they would put "unknown" as a choice, even though it really is for many people...usually, they just say "male female prefer not to respond"
