Does anyone bother replying to people with a low post count?

applause

id like to thank hpnmath4life for speaking for the low-post count people. No discrimination against us!!!

It wasn't against posters like you that I was weary of, just posters that have 3 posts and you can completely tell they're not going to stick around much. But, eh, whatever.

damn noobs:p

i love when someone with a really low post count says something really presumptous, especially if they're starting a thread. i never knew that cafe posts don't count. damn, id have like 500 by now.

I didn't think I discriminated against those with low posts. But now that I think about it... I am a postist (prejudice against low posts).

The "converse," of that would probably be true as well. I tend to have a lot of respect for people with 100+ posts. But then there's a couple with 2000+ and I can't help but think, "how much great advice can they give if all their time is on CC?"

"They've got discrimination down to a science now."

Pretty soon, our active members will be listing CC as an EC on their apps...

You mean, we haven't already? Aww... jeez.. goes to delete College Confidental off his common app

Mr. Dooley, I completely agree. Actually, will you write me a recommendation??

lol just kidding

I should be doing my law stuff right now, and you are all distracting me!

I've been on CC for over a year, but I am more of a lurker. I only reply to posts that catch my attention, and that I know I can truthfully respond to. Also, I don't know that much about college admissions, so I choose not to respond to "What are my chances" posts. I don't think it would be fair to get someone's hopes up, when I don't even know what my own chances are.

Where colleges ask how you learned about them, I tried to put College Confidential, but it wouldn't fit. O well...(online app)

You should check out another_asianboy's thread in the Highschool Life forum, threads like that should count as negative posts.

Don't hate on the new ones! ;-)
I had an account a year or more ago, but was forced to stay away from the computer to focus on school (haha)

phlogistonfreak.

lmao.

hey, what was wrong with my thread? i created it just because there are people like you, who do not give enough respect to us.

The idea is to give respect to people who actually contribute to the discussion, not just artificially inflate their post count. Note the fact that I have less posts than you, I;m hardly in a place to discriminate.
