Does anyone else feel like they're going to be downright rejected?

Pre-decisions anxiety. I think I am going to be rejected.......... or even worse deferred and forced to have false hope for 4 months only to be rejected.............. Float my boat anyone?

definitely meraising my hand up
however i wont be applying until next year(im in my junior year):)

I’m not waiting on Duke results, but Stanford. I’ve literally been having mini anxiety attacks before I go to bed for the past few days. As horrible as it sounds, I think setting myself up for rejection is the most helpful thing I can do right now haha

Picturing myself reading the rejection email makes me a little bit more at ease with the whole situation…as odd as that may sound!

Everyone should expect to get rejected from Duke. Even the best students should not expect to get in, but rather to “have a shot/good shot” to be competitive or to get in. You should just expect to get rejected and if you get in then go nuts!

I’m 50% expecting rejection, 50% expecting deferral.

Prepurm has it right…

International who need FA yeh… that says it all

This may be a bad thing to say…but I’m 65% Accepted 30% Deferred 5% Rejected

Well if were looking at it in the WilliamAndMary way (which I like ;D) I’d say I feel 20% Accepted 35% Deferred and 45% Rejected
So yes, I definitely feel for the most part that I’m going to be rejected UGH.

My daughter said she is hoping for the best but prepared for the worst, just because Duke is so competetive even for people with perfect stats. :/

5% Accept
30% Defer
65% Reject

T_____________T Maybe I should change the “Accept” to .000000000000000000000001%

Duke may send a man to slap me across the face for applying to their school in lieu of an email. I’d bet their thoughtful like that…

That is hilarious lol

Hmmm. 1% Accept
9% Defer
90% Reject
