Does Anyone Else Like to Party?

^^^Hey! Don’t get me wrong. I am definitely a nerd myself. I am not knocking nerds in general. Nerd by definition does not mean anti-social. Nerd by definition also does not mean “I do not party” or “I do not like to party.” In no way was I intending to insult people at CC…I’m just stating a truth. People at CC are a self-selective part of the population…and a large portion of them tend to be more anti-social because they either spending a lot of time being focused on academics or on the computer writing posts.

Exactly. I’ve never even been to a party like that, though I know they exist. And unless it’s really wild, no one really gets trashed to the point where they lose all their inhibitions. Those who do tend to ruin it for everyone else (in my experience, of course).

that thread on who doesnt like to party was getting wayyyyy too long haha, i personally lovee to partyy =]

partying is a definite yes for me.

I like parties. Especially now that my friends all have apartments and houses and we don’t have to worry about silly things like RAs and quiet hours. (Well I guess the on campus apartments still have those, but no one cares.)

In the past, I would have said I like to party occasionally because when you’re a freshman, your choices are dorm parties that get broken up half the time, or frat parties that are gross.

@another_adam: the irony I was suggesting is that the “I don’t like to party” thread seems to be full of people who do like to party, and vice versa. Irony’s probably the wrong word, though…

hell ya i like to party…i just gotta be responsible cuz i cannot get caught

I love to party, in every sense of the word. I enjoy being with friends, going to clubs/bars/house parties/dinner parties and yes, love to drink. But there is nothing wrong with not liking partying either.

Yessir…

I can’t imagine why one wouldn’t.

Hi, I am the person who started the other thread.

My answer is no.

Fair 'nuff, Brian
Thanks for popping in, anyway.

I like parties, so long as there’s no dancing.

Partying is probably the main reason why I managed to stay sane in college.

After three years of study in engineering, I can say that I’ve had my fair share of parties. Some were boring… but some were simply memorable (well, not always :P).

Partying kept me sane in college as well.

I agree, partying helps me stay somewhat happy during college. If i didn’t party, I would probably be very bored and school would seem like a drag. Partying gives me something to look forward to on the weekends and helps me do work before the weekend to allow for time to party.
