Does anyone else play Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword?

^On deity (highest diff. level) AI’s pay very little in unit maintenance. JC probably has 80% of all available buildings in each city in his empire as well as those units.

:O !!!111!!!one!!11!!!uno!!!111!

DMOC, thanks so much for the post!! It’s extremely informative! =)

Thanks, IO. :)

By the way guys, check out the date that’s on the screenshot.

1890 AD

Yes, deity AI’s can get those size armies before the 20th century lol. On CivFanatics, I’ve seen games where Huayna Capac has Mechanized Infantry in the 1500s. Good thing the AI has flaws that have enabled many humans to win on deity [i.e. it is crucial to konwing the AI file and know if an AI declares war at “pleased” or not]. Assuming standard map conditions, of course.

If you guys want to, feel free to try out my Ultra Ultura Deity Challenge I posted. I have tried this twice and lost a cultural victory the first time and the second time lost to another culture vic because I couldn’t get my army mobilized fast enough. I hand-crafted this map from the WorldBuilder and put a peaceful AI who is a STRONG techer on the other continent so he was able to tech/culture to his hear’s extent. No one has yet to win this game.
