break out when they get stressed out?

I do :/ I have to drink large amounts of milk, because that is what clears my face.

I also wash my face with Dove face wash twice a day.

Soo..anyone else?

I do. I hate looking like a mess.

Luckily, no. So glad I inherited good skin.

Except I do break out a teeny bit when I wear too much makeup, so there’s a disadvantage there.

I don’t wear makeup, and I often get complimented on my skin. I think my blemishes are a bit deep in the skin. My face is soft aside from my problematic areas. Which are at my forehead…my bangs cover it up though and even when clipped back, not too visible.

Oh…I’ve had pretty bad skin for the past two-ish years because that’s when I’ve been almost permanently stressed. I get sick really easily when I’m stressed as well.

Is milk really supposed to clear up your skin? I hate being lactose-intolerant.

I think that washing one’s face can also be beneficial.

ermm i had really really really bad acne start up in 7th grade… took accutane last summer =] and thank God, its ALOT better. edit: i forgot to mention… I’m graduating from high school in a month ;D just to keep things in perspective!

i have the occasional breakout when im stressed, but my skin is super sensitive. its slightly disturbing.

from what i’ve read, milk actually makes you break out more… and ive heard cheese is really really bad.

i know research says that oily foods/chocolate do not affect acne, but from a personal basis, it really affects my skin. after all, what you eat has to go somewhere.

anyways- tips for breakouts

alrighty… good luck with those breakouts. [ps. i used to follow most of these rules, and alot of the time I’d still breakout. If you have some serious acne, go to the docs. Retin-A saved my life]

It’s probably ideal to avoid skim milk.

I would suggest that you solely take Retin-A as a last resort.

I do =\ My skin just sucks in general. I have keratosis pilaris AND mild rosacea. Lame.

But, this face wash I’ve started using is working really well. So all I’ve been worrying about lately is how red my cheeks are, lol.

Nope =)

I’ve never really had a problem with acne.

My acne went away :]

I’m not as stressed as I was a few days ago.

Everything seems right at the moment!

I was super stressed yesterday :/

I take two anti-bacterial pills a day —> I rarely get sick and never have acne.

^ Doesn’t taking antibiotics when you’re not sick encourage the existence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria?

This concept of stress is foreign to me.

I’ve had major acne since the beginning of 6th grade. And people wonder why my self esteem is in the s*** hole. Thankfully I’m going to the gyno (I’m 18 btw…) and getting birth control for my face. A few of my friends do this and it’s worked wonders for them. I have seriously tried every there is to try and nothing works. And it’s not like I have a crap diet or don’t wash my face or anything. I just got ridiculously bad genes :(. I should have gone to the gyno years ago…

^^Lucky you!

nikker: ask your doctor if you can take accutane-- seriously! it did WONDERS for my face- i got severe acne in seventh grade, so i know what you are talking about.
