So, i'm a pretty good student (35 ACT, 2330 SAT, 4.0 GPA) and have done research and been in state music events....so i know i have a chance at many of the most selective colleges. However, i also realize that it's possible that i'll be rejected to all of my reach colleges. But rejections are kind of in the back of my mind, as something that is unlikely to happen, even though its likely i won't be able to attend those schools.

i guess my question is, does anyone else have blind hope in getting into a college even though the rates of acceptance are so low....?
