With the next week or so being so critical for doing good on my sat, I wanted to make sure that barron's CR is hard

The Barron's I have has some pretty difficult, cerebral CR passages (like Thoreau and Kant and other philosophers) -- much harder than the stuff in the blue book.

Oh, okay. Would you say the barron's book is MUCH harder than the actual SAT? because some sections have been stresssing me out

Harder than the actual SAT, but not by much. Still, I think Barron's books have better practice passages/questions than the blue book. From what I've read so far, Barron's books (for SAT and SAT II) are probably the best in terms of thoroughness of explanations.

I think that the reading comp is pretty realistic (maybe a little more difficult), but the sentence completions and math in generally are quite hard.

Another reason why I think my scores need hand scoring. I used this book religiously, and the Blue Book, found this a bit harder. Used if for 3 months, finally got to a point of 1 or 2 wrong in all tests. Still tanked the SAT 600 less than my practice tests. UGGH

i thought barrons was harder than the blue book it brought my score up over 90 points
