Does anyone go to a school that pays for their exams?

My school pays for any exam as long as you pass both semesters, but it might be a statewide thing. Gotta say I really love that, it saves me a lot of money.

Wish I did.

my school pays for you to take the test even if you're failing the class, hell you can even sign up to take the test for free even if you didn't take the AP class...

if you take the AP class and don't want to take the AP test you actually have to pay the school...

it's because our school wants to do well on Jay Mathews high school ranking list...

i live in florida... so our disctricts/schools/teachers get $$ when you pass... ergo, ANYONE can take ANY test... doesnt really matter... hmmmm... i didnt even know other people in other states paid until CC.... then i was like WOAH!!! the CB cow must be fat!!!

All Florida schools pay for the exams.

No, but almost everyone is low-income so we only have to pay $13 for each.

Au contraire at my school! We have to pay extra to pay for the proctors (who are usually subs at our school) and bus transportation to a local church because apparently my school - though it was built only 7 years ago - apparently doesn't meet the minimum standards for testing! So we have to pay $90/exam.

we only have to pay for our first exam...

so basically u pay $82 and take as many exams as you want (but the school has to approve them...so u cant just sign up for EVERY exam)

pretty sweet..probably the #1 thing about my school district lol

i pay 82 bux for each exam, it sux and its comming out of my pocket...gulp, too many ap classes this year haha

We have to pay the full 82 for each freaking exam

My school pays about half of the cost. I have to pay the rest. Its nicer than having to pay it all myself, but still not cheap.

Yep, florida school here, and I'm glad I'm in one, 82$ is expensive....

I am happy to say that my school district is, for the first time, paying for the AP exams coming school yr. Right when I take my first APs (US Gov&Comp) I was so happy b/c i was expecting to take 11/12 AP exams all together, so thats $900+. I'm glad that's not gonna be a burden anymore.

My school has the most random numbers.

It costs 37 dollars if you are getting a 89 or better for the year.
If you are not, or you self study, you have to pay full price,

unless you are poor, then its free.

I have to pay $84. Bastards.

I have to pay $82 for each exam.

Everyone at my school has to pay $52 for each exam.

My school pays for the exams.

Is it possible for me to be enrolled at my regular school (private) and enroll simultaneously for like two weeks in public school during the APs? I don't want to spend 500-1000 dollars on AP tests next year (I have to do $82 each) when I can get them for free or dramatically reduced prices at the local high school. Heck, my parents STILL pay the taxes for that school district, so we should get something out of it.

lol ^^

we dont have to pay so long as we take the course at the school/online

otherwise it's 82 bucks a pop
