Does anyone have the link for last year's RD thread which says who was accepted/rejected/waitlisted? thanks!

i would like to find that out too

Easy search. :)

Yikes, look at all the rejections.

First page looks absolutely brutal, but it gets a bit better after that.

It looks really tough
Check out the 4 legacy <700 sat scores who got in
...

Thank you so much!

Yeah, it is a little terrifying.

Man, if I didn't have my Amherst early write acceptance...I'd be in bad shape right now.

lol let's just all pretend we never applied to Yale at all...

"Yale? What's Yale?"

Man, I'm definitely not getting in. Reality bites.

Do they already have the "2010 Yale RD Decisions" thread made? I've designed my lovely rejection post, and I'd like to put it on there now. =)

I don't know. Is this even longer/harder/than the early action wait? I think so
okay
lets get busy
what do we know???????????????????????
the urm, athlete, off the wall scholars are in or have likely letters
that leaves the legacies (either they get in late or they're not posting) and the superb yet mildly indistinguishable rest

Ha Samian Quazi, now you have me imagining what it would be like if Yale sent out anti-likely letters. Like, around the end of Feburary, they sent out notices like "Dear applicant, we at the Yale admissions committee are writing to put you on your guard. You are so appallingly bad that there's no earthly way we would let you onto this campus; in fact, enclosed you will find a restraining order banning you from 10 miles within New Haven. Best of luck with your other applications--wait, we take that back. Please do the world of academia a favor and seek a permanent position at Starbucks."

Ooh, that would hurt.

OMG did anyone notice the white person who got in with a 1240! I did not think it is possible. Could legacy really help that much!

Wow, a couple of 1300's got in.

That really gives me hope (or a false one, rather).

hahaha who knows? maybe they DO have unlikely letters...

pssh, at this point, I'd even be happy w/ one of those, just to get it over with

To Yale Adcom Officer reading this: I was soooo just kidding about that last post, sir/ma'am. Please don't send me one of those! Please!!

Ah, yes...the dreaded thread. How well I do remember thee. It was kind of a "I'll post if you post...no, you first" kind of thing. :p

how did you do the "easy search?" I'd like to see the RD thread from 04 I can't get any sense of where all the legacies are...

Under "search this forum" I searched for the words "official regular decisions thread" :).
