uh wat about Uchicago and Northwestern? i kno they have amazing economics programs

business, not economics. Apparently Northwestern is going to expand undergrad business offerings.

Yes but it is undergraduate BUSINESS ranking not economics. Uchicago and Northwestern don’t have undergraduate business major.

what types of careers r usually affiliated w/economics?

Northwestern's Kellogg starts to offer certificate programs for undergrads.

thanks a lot.

why is Pace University so low on that list? i think Pace is one of the best business schools in NYC...

It isn't. Pace is definitely on the low-end academically.

But I don't see how St. Johns, Hofstra, and Albany is above them on the list, especially St. Johns. Everyone in my schools gets into St. Johns. St. Johns' business program isn't even recognizable by most people.

Pace University has a very good recruitment system. You get a lot of intern and job opportunities. Pace is also well recognized in Wall Street because it is only a few blocks away.

At that low level of rankings, the difference isn't significant. At that point, you should just group the schools by tier/bracket. A school ranked 80 and a school ranked in the hundreds: no difference. A school ranked #2 and a school ranked #20: a bigger difference.

I guess among comparable programs, Pace has the edge due to networking opportunities in NYC.

the other rankings are at <a href="http://bwnt.businessweek.com/bschools/undergraduate/07rankings/%5B/url%5D">http://bwnt.businessweek.com/bschools/undergraduate/07rankings/</a></p>
