Does anyone have a used General Chem Book (Oxtoby-7th edition) they would sell?

Hello. Looking to purchase used-
9780840049315 Principles of General Chemistry-Oxtoby-7th edition for
L07 Chem 111A
Also, need the Solutions Manual.
Thanks.

You might be better waiting until the 27th or so, when all the upperclassmen move in. Lock & Chain will be doing some sales also, and a few copies will probably be there.

Ok. Thanks. What is Lock & Chain?

I have a 6th edition that I could sell you real cheap. Should be sufficient, but that’s your choice. PM me if you’re interested.

Most of the classes you take freshman year don’t have homework from the book to turn in. I used a different company’s book for calc 3, and did fine. Similarly, the sixth edition likely will serve you well, especially since it’s the only version anyone on this forum likely already has.

On another note, if the one person taking 117/118 is on this board, I have the books for that class.

Plenty of schmucks will obliviously take 117/118. They’ll hate it, but you’ll have people who will buy your books.
