Does anyone have experience of transferring as a physics students (credits etc.)

Did your general physics courses transfer? I’m thinking of taking physics III this summer but I’m going to transfer. I’d rather take it now so I can take it easy in the fall but I’m worried it might not count in the transfer process

Calculus based physics for physics majors normally transfers. Since different schools order topics differently, it may be desirable to complete the entire frosh/soph sequence to avoid gaps in material coverage. You can check your target school to see if it articulation listings for courses from your current school.

You also want to take the frosh/soph math courses up to multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations.

It all depends on the material covered in the courses you are taking now and at the university you are transferring to. This information may be available on the 4-year school you are transferring to if there is an articulation agreement between the CC (I assume that is what you are attending) the university.
