does anyone have NO ap credit

or am i like the only one

if you dont either (which probably wont happen) but what school are you in? i mean within cmu?

I know a lot of people going to a selective college with no AP credit. Mostly because they got 3s or 4s when they needed to score higher.

When I went to visit, I talked to this one guy (the SCS admissions rep or something) and he was really knowing of pretty much everything. Anyways, he told me that they take AP credit, but don't like kids with a lot of it. He said if I come in with over 40 credit, I should seriously consider taking the classes anyways.

oh like i didnt take any APs last year and im taking 4 this year...but i really really dont wanna study for them and am not really planning on it...so ill prob get 3s which isnt good enough for cmu...so yeah...ill have none

im in mcs

Don't worry morgan. I made up a bunch of bull@$& for the AP US exam last year about Irish immigrants in the 1860's being perpetually drunk and degrading to society. Completely missed the prompt and still got a 5 :D

wow lol..lucky

im probably gonna get a 1 lol

I'm planning on getting credit for chemistry and probably calc ab.

yea me too

yeah i know that people have credit...lol..i was wondering about people that dont

oberserabbit,

what are you responding to?

i have gotten a 2, 3, 3, and a 4 so far, and am taking 4 (though they made me pay twice for ****ING physics c, so technically 5

doubt I'll have a single ap credit going in. Technically, CU Boulder gave me credit for AP US History - so I have a transcript from them, but otherwise, nah. Plus, US History isn't a class I'll take heh.

glad im not the only one

what school are you in?

Well that will be the only 2 credits I will get out of 9 APs I took and will take and I'm in MCS.

it beats my zero credits...im in mcs too..i think i mentioned that

Okay, maybe I lied in earlier posts when I assumed everyone had more credit than me (or is it I...).

I hate the AP tests though. Its $82 per test, and its so hard to get a 5 in some subjects (last year, out of 120 kids taking AP Bio M, only 10 of us got 5's).

oh my schools pays for the tests :p

im in mcs and i wont be having any ap credit either

I wish my school did. They offer "aid" for the cost, but only give the aid to students who already are already receiving massive amounts of aid for tuition. I know a kid who is taking 8 AP tests this year. I'm envious; he's getting it all paid for (and he didn't even take a single AP course, lol)

oh yay obeserabbit...i feel so much better :)
im not the only one haha

mdk2006...wow it sucks to pay so much money...esp if you dont plan on getting 5 or atleast 4

costs $95 at my school!!!

ouch!

why the extra $13, though? I guess maybe the stuff we got from collegeboard was regional or something.
