I just completed my Transfer Housing Application, and they only give you options to choose Single, Traditional Double, Suite, and Apartment, for your preference, but did not list the price.

I called Rutgers, but they said the prices aren't available until August, so I was wondering if we are going to be able to choose from the available types of rooms in August, along with the prices to go along with each?

I found it odd that they would not list the price of each type of room, since it may be help determine financial decisions, etc.

So, could any current students please give the 2010-2011 year price of each type of room?

You can get to this years prices through the housing site. There’s not a huge variation on 9 month contracts but there are differences depending on the building

generally, apartments cost $300/semester more than a double
and I believe a suite is the same as a double,
but a single is like $200 more.
the new suites on busch cost $7500/yr

I’m in a double right now and it costs me $3418/semester.
I keep track of how much I pay each year, and I was in an apt last year. I’ll get back to you.
