Does anyone have Windows Vista?

<p>Does anyone have windows vista? How is it and does it still have alot of bugs?</p>

<p>from the pictures I've seen, it looks almost exactly like mac OS X. I heard vista works with ipods but not the zune. How stupid.</p>

<p>I'm not getting it for at least two or three years. It'll take anywhere from 6 months to a year before all the bugs are worked out, and even then there'll be nothing that XP can't do that I'll need Vista for.</p>

<p>lol i hate you all, but yes I got vista. I purchased my computer just a couple of months ago, so it's relatively new (core 2 duo) and Vista works really well on it. I havnent really tinkered around with stuff yet too much, except some starcraft and basic internet browsing, but everything is very sleek.</p>

<p>Because I had an absolutely lousy experience with XP on the Dell and had enough of both of them. I finally bought a PowerBook and never looked back. I'm the black sheep in my family because I'm the only one that uses a Mac, but I love it; it's intuitive, easy to use (and the bundled software), and the PB is just drop-dead gorgeous.</p>

<p>I had planned on getting a MacBook Pro summertime for college (edu. discount!), but I want to wait and see if Apple releases a new design; it's stunning as is, but I want something new style-wise.</p>

<p>But this discussion is about Vista, not Mac OS X.</p>

<p>I don't think there's anything wrong with Vista. I'd buy a new PC and wouldn't mind it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to spend $$$ to upgrade.</p>

<p>i have vista too and its alrite, i mean the look is definitely cooler than xp, but other than that, everything else is not that much better than xp....i actually use my xp laptop more than my vista desktop...</p>

<p>My dad literally just got it. It's fine, but installing stuff is a right pain in the <em>knee</em>. It really is like that Mac commercial, "You are coming to a sad realization, cancel or allow"</p>

<p>What's with all the hatred towards Vista? I don't see major problems with it other than the lack or drivers at the moment. The operating system itself is not that bad-a vast improvement over XP.</p>

<p>I have no idea. Since the University gives it out, I'm assuming it's legal.</p>
