i recieved an invitation to the VISION 2005 "special weekend for ethnically diverse students." its feb 24-27 and all travel expenses are paid. basically the schedule consists of a reception, attend classes, activities, etc....

the wierd thing is i applied interim decision and i believe ID applicants get notified feb 10 whether they're in or not. however, this VISION weekend is feb 24-27. so is there a good chance i got accepted? i mean, why else send an invite to early and use university time and money for 4 days if you dont already know the student got accepted. well, i'm not getting my hopes up. has anyone heard of the weekend for "ethnically diverse students" (aka minorities)?

sidenote: i just reread my post and just wanted to say i'm not trying to brag or anything, if thats how it sounds...damn my selfconsciousness...

i guess asians dont count...why do pp consider asians to be "white" ...we are asians foos!! But i really dont care because i really dont pay attention to race...everyone is just everyone to me..the individual...yall might not believe me because everybody says they say the same thing, but i really dont.. maybe it is because i go to school full of different ppl that i got used to seeing them or something...well, we all came from adam and eve so yeah..hmm...

Haha I didn't get anything in the mail, either. Then again, since it IS coming from Houston all the way here.. I should expect it tomorrow if they sent one to me.

really? I thought that they were so abundant that they aren't considered in affirmative action anymore... Then again, I don't keep up with current events.
