Does anyone know any non-binding early action colleges?
so far a just know Cornell...
thanx a zillion!

UNC-Chapel Hill

UGA

also, any EA school except Stanford and Yale

I think that says it all. Most schools I’m aware of are not binding for EA - that just means the school takes action on the application early - but ED is just that, and implied early DECISION by the applicant should admission be offered.

It’s semantics, and yes, I may be wrong in many cases, but the schools my children applied to all had that distinction. So maybe look for the different names for the process (some schools have both, others have only one or the other).

In case any readers are confused, Cornell College (not Cornell University) offers EA.

A somewhat incomplete/outdated list of EA schools can be found here:

The list helped, a bit outdated though
LOL Thanks!!!

Great thanx to all :)

Randolph-Macon in Virgina offers an Early Decision Non-Binding option on the application

^ That would be Early Action (as the OP asked). [Randolph-Macon College: Admissions Process - Freshmen Admissions](http://www.rmc.edu/Admissions/freshman/process.aspx)

Chapman University in California has EA non-binding.

My understanding is that all early action are non-binding.
Only early decisions are binding.

Fordham. You should also look at schools with rolling admissions.

Boston College is early action. While UNC Chapel Hill has early action, you don’t receive the decision until sometime in January. This year it was late January.

University of Michigan
