I'm applying for freshman after quitting a university. I don't have a transcript or any grades because I didn't stay long enough for any exams and there's no GPA in this country, but I do have a reference saying that I'm leaving for other unrelated reasons and not due to poor academic performance. Do you think they'll take this into account much?

Yeah I know there is a place on the application to explain extenuating circumstances for why your past education may have been interrupted or disctoninued.
so as long as you have good reasons and expalin yourself well enough, i think you still have a good chance.
where are you applying from though
