<p>i know that the multiple choice section is worth 2/3 of the total score and free response is worth 1/3. logically, since there are 60 MC questions, it'd seem that free response would be scored out of 30 raw points...but it isn't. in the past 5 or so years, there wasn't a single year when free response has been scored out of 30--instead, it has been scored out of 26, 27, or whatever. </p>
<p>does anybody know for sure how the scores are scaled?</p>
