<p>I think it’s B because it is saying that this experiment was done again another time…it helps to give the experiment more “proof” and importance, because it was done twice.</p>
<p>It’s saying that this was MEASURED. Basically, up until that point, you wouldn’t know if what the author was saying was legitimate fact or just hearsay. This inclusion of fact allows you to know that this pattern was measured, thereby validating the theory mentioned earlier in the passage. These lines IN THEMSELVES do not describe any details of the finding. They just say it was measured. The details of the finding are in the previous lines. Only look at Lines 34-35 when they say “In Lines 34…35”.</p>
<p>So based on my knowledge the reason on why it isn’t C is because those 2 lines specifically don’t provide details, its the sentences before that that do. And it’s B, since its proves the validity of what was stated before</p>
