I was wondering if anyone knew if the SFS or if the College of arts and sciences is more selective?
Thanks.

I think this is accurate:
SFS technically has a higher acceptance rate, but the applicants to SFS generally have higher scores/grades.
The College has a lower acceptance rate, but the applicants also have slightly lower scores/grades.

Thanks. I am kind of undecided, major wise, and I love Georgetown, but my stats are low so I was going to apply to the school that is easier to get into. In this case I don't think that will work.

I am pretty sure SFS is the hardest to get into...

I thought SFS was harder because they have so many more applicants which probably means a higher caliber of students.

There aren't more applicants to SFS, the College gets the most. I'd say on this board, though, there are more SFS applicants than College applicants.

Statistically, I believe SFS accepts about 2% more applicants than the College, but that's only from about 20 to 22%. The margin is very close, so this year the statistic could even be reversed.

I think because Georgetown is so well known for being very international relations-orientated, stronger applicants would apply to the SFC. Whereas, the College- there's a dozen other schools like the College, so stronger applicants might go with another school.
