does anyone know if its possible to apply like this?

when applying to colleges, im unable to pay online and it is extremely difficult to get a paper application, so could i simply complete the online application and mail the application fee(money order or draft) with the other material necessary to mail to the admissions office at the college

is that possible, and excuse me for asking an obvious question, if it is

all help is appreciated

thank you for your time

Hm. You’d better ask the admissions officers at the individual colleges (just send them an email) or look around the individual websites.

Perhaps you could fill out the application online, print it out, and send it in the mail with the app fee? I don’t know.

yeah i tired emailing and i got generic responses , like automatic messages, instead of an actual response, that told me i could apply online at the site
didnt help much, lol

but i guess i could resend it and hope that i get a person this time around

im not sure if the online application has a print out option or even if it would be in a practical form to print, but ill look into it

Just trying to think outside the box: Could you get one of those pre-payed VISA cards? Most drug stores, grocery stores, KMart type stores have a section where you can buy gift cards to things like itunes, Starbucks, pre-paid VISA or American Express, etc. Could you “buy” one of these and put an amount in it that will cover the cost for filing the application online? I think you just bring the blank card to the cash register and tell them how much you want to put into it and pay the it using cash. When you file online, you should be able to use it like any other credit card but the amount automatically gets deducted from the balance on the card.

to nysmile…
thats a very out of the box answer and an intersting one to boot

i had no idea such cards even existed, lol, but i may look into it…it was the stigma of sending money online that really kills the process for me , but id feel more at ease like that

perhaps, it is worth looking in to
