Does anyone know when decisions are coming out?

I’ve heard its “random”.

Finally found out today through the portal. Got accepted. No mention of merit money, so hopefully I find out when I get my letter in the mail.

Have not heard from the nursing program yet! There was a few posts in a thread a week or so ago. People who submitted their applications very early for the nursing program have not heard yet - must have to do with the program itself.

I just got accepted today to Storrs!

Did people who got money find out through the portal, mail, or both? B/c my portal said nothing…

Through the mail. Good luck.

i was just accepted to the honors program last night. i sent in my application around mid-november. I wasnt expecting to hear back so soon, but they sent me an email that said “there has been a change to your application status, please sign in to student system” so its really not necessary to check everyday, they will email you when a decision has been made. It doesnt say anything about money though. It says i should be expecting a letter of admission in the next few days…perhaps the letter will tell me if i received any scholarship…

@brenmargo and anyone else who was wondering, I received my notification decision online first and then got my official letter in the mail about 5-7 days later. The merit money was included in that package.

Thanks all. Yeah I received my acceptance online with no mention of money so I was curious.

Nothing about any money in my letter. Are you kidding me?! -____-

I heard that only people with a 1950+ on the SATs get merit money. I’m not saying it’s true, but that’s what I heard.

Also, I applied in early November and my file was complete the 18th. All of my friends who have been accepted applied in the middle of October or applied after me and have really high SATs. Starting to freak out :/

I had a 29 ACT and 6th in my class of 400. I thought that would get me some money.

I heard merrit money was for over 1400 M and R combined.

My SATs superscored were 2030 or 1250/1600. But I’m also in-state… dunno if that affects anything?

my sons Application was complete 11/09…page now reads …

A decision is pending, please check back in 24 hours

Guess we will find out soon enough!

Accepted…application complete 11/09…SATS 1310, ACT 30, GPA 93 0verall…many honors and AP’s.

First acceptance…going to take a tour in January!

anyone heard from nursing yet?

When my son received his official acceptance letter in the mail it did not include any mention of merit money. I thought that was strange since he was admitted into Honors and Engineering with a 1460 SAT and a 35 ACT. I actually called Admissions and was told his acceptance letter was sent while he was still being reviewed for merit money. They told me on the phone there was an Academic Excellence Award and a few days later the letter arrived with 1/2 tuition. It seems sometimes the two letters are not sent together. I hope this holds true for others who are hoping for merit money. Good luck!

Still no word here on nursing!! And no status change or email yet! App was completed on Oct 26th!!

check website - i received an email telling me I’m admitted and letter is coming in the mail.
