<p>Blah. Anxiously waiting some sort of notification. Anyone have any idea roughly when they’re supposed to send out letters?</p>
<p>I say about a week. The first accepted student chat is 3/7</p>
<p>That’s for ED students. Last year letters went out in batches in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of March.</p>
<p>Not only that, but last year’s letters took forever between the first batch and the last batch. There was a lot of frustration among applicants (certainly, there was a lot of frustration voiced here on College Confidential), and it really reflected badly on AU’s admissions office.</p>
<p>I don’t like saying that. I’ve really come to like a lot of things about AU. It pained me to watch last year’s notification debacle unfold.</p>
<p>But I’m mentioning it this spring so that applicants will know that the worst case, as far as timely notification is concerned, could be pretty bad. I hope it’ll go much better and faster this spring.</p>
<p>So nervous waiting! I’ve been looking on cc, and some people in the past have said that they’ve gotten calls around 3/10ish and some haven’t. Any idea if they’re calling some people this year or what?</p>

<p>When I visited on Preview Day this year, they said they were aiming to send out letters by March 20th, and that all of the letters were going out together. I was just wondering if anyone knew why it appears some people have gotten phone calls earlier in the past years.</p>

<p>@Jlgregory01 - Some people get phone calls and some don’t from what I’ve heard. My roommates here at AU both say they received phone calls but I didn’t. I know AU Diplomats do the phone calls for international students and your respective schools admissions officers or undergrad advisors may call as well. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it too much…</p>
<p>@Ebrennan - AU is notoriously late on sending acceptances. I lived in California when I received my package and got it at the end of March. Don’t sweat it!</p>
<p>some people last year found out march 12th, so i thought it would be around then. im so nervous! i just want them to come soon, I applied super early so i hope im in the first batch</p>
<p>I made an account on CC just so I could reply to this post lol. On the CSS Profile it is stated that Regular Decision Date is March 15th, 2012 on the Acknowledgment page. That’s in 4 days so I was like 
when I saw it. Just wanted to share!</p>

<p>I think no later than April 1st. I called last week and they said the last week of March!!!</p>

i emailed admissions and i’m still waiting for a reply. if i don’t get one before 3PM then i’ll call them.</p>
<p>Check your email. Many get notified that way.</p>
<p>This week is spring break. May not be a lot going on in admissions this week.</p>
