My D got an email this afternoon saying that she was accepted. Nothing in the mail yet. We live in Califor So, it seems like some peiple get phone calls, some get emails, and some need to wait for the mail.

Received email around 745 and I’m from Texas. Not sure how they’re doing it this year but I wouldn’t worry too much. Good luck

My son received an email tonight congratulating him and telling him that his acceptance letter is in the mail.

Wow this is weird…acciocollege, I’m going to assume that I got rejected/waitlisted

Well, I expect I got rejected. I’m actually kind of surprised-my GPA is way higher than the AU average. Oh well, life goes on.

I found out yet either, I’m really nervous too…

Is this something new they’re doing? My boyfriend is a current freshman there, and he was accepted and a Douglass Scholar, but no notice of acceptance via e-mail. I just got my acceptance e-mail about an hour ago. I wouldn’t give up hope for those of you who haven’t heard yet…!

I wouldn’t freak out if I were you guys. American did something similar last year by sending out the letter in weird batches, so that no one could figure out when theirs was coming and lots of people thought they had been rejected. Don’t stress until you actually have the letter in your hand because admissions are just too weird to try to understand :P

D in Northern Cal. received the email earlier this evening. Congrats to those who received it and good luck to those who are still waiting.

Right, well, someone from my school just got in, so now I’m really freaking out. Her last name is near the end of the alphabet too…damn.

Edit: That was actually two hours ago, but facebook stalking via the feed on the right side just informed me now, because I’m not actually friends with her on facebook.

I just got my email! Accepted! My friends both got their emails an hour before I did and I was freaking out. Don’t give up hope yet, I’m sure most of you got in. Emails are going out at weird times… Haha
My stats are: 4.0 unweighted gpa, 4.63 weighted, 28 ACT

D got email tonight. Accepted. We’re in NC. She applied test-optional so it’s been a long wait!

I got in today via email! It’s not my first choice, but I don’t really have a second choice because I want to go to my 1st choice so badly. Good chance I’ll be at American next year though!

Quick stats: 3.7ish uw, 4.2ish w. 1990 superscore. 3 subject tests in the 600s. Took 2 aps last year and they were both 4s. Horrible class rank. Top 30% of class. Really unique essay about my learning disability (dyslexia) and I interviewed. Really stellar ecs and recs.
