Hi! I have one question. I was contacted for my interview and i was wondering how much info the interviewer is given about the applicant. For instance are they given the applicant’s grades, essays, activities, etc.

thank you!

thank you!

im not exactly sure but i think not much since some people i know had their inteviews before the apps were due for ea

They are told nothing but your name, email, and phone.

This was the first thing my alum told me. And actually, one of the questions involved me telling her a rough overview of my stats/ec's.

My interviewer and I coudln't get together due to scheduling conflicts... and I got into Huntsman ED, so I'm just saying dont' worry about hte interview a lot, just chill.

yeah dont stress, i wasnt even called for an interview and i got into wharton ed

thanks guys!

i feel better

yeah the interviewer really doesn't know anything. My interviewer said she didn't even want a transcript from me.

probably the idea is for the interviewer to get an angle on you thats doesnt come through from your grades or other things that the admissions board would see anyway, so theres no reason that they would have that information, in fact, they probably specifically don't want to have it

"They are told nothing but your name, email, and phone."

wrong. my interviewer knew my major. i think they know some stuff.

Although I haven't done any interviews this year, in the past the alumni interviewer was provided with a candidate name, phone number, e-mail address if available, high school name, and school applied to at Penn. That's it.

my interviewer knew my major as well.

shrug. maybe the policy is different depending on the region.
