Beloit College has the largest undergraduate anthropological museum in the country. It also is the #2 producer of future anthropological PhDs out of all universities and LACs in the country. The character of Indiana Jones was based off a former professor of Anthropology at Beloit. It gives a lot of good merit scholarships and a very rigorous education. I would suggest looking into it.

The most commonly accepted inspirations for Indiana Jones are James Breasted and Robert Braidwood, both of whom worked at Chicago.

While Beloit’s Roy Chapman was certainly an adventurer, he was a paleontologist rather than an archaeologist and worked for a museum rather than a university.
