Does anyone who got C on English2 class still made transfer???

I got GRADE C on my English102 class( English2)

Does anyone who got C on english2 class and still made transfer to some

uc??? plz let me know major and school...

Plz help me ...

thanks for your reading......

so far i got 1B 1C AND 3W gpa is about 3.7? something ...

sad...

Aha~ Major in biochem

...I can tell why you got a C in English.

How the hell did you get 3 W's in just one one or two quarters/semesters? Methinks they look worse than a C in English. IMHO anyway.

You'll be fine. 3.7 is very strong for biochem.

yea you should be fine, my case

eng 1a: C
eng 1b: B
eng 1c: B

accepted: UCSB, UCI
denied: UCSD, UCD

major: economics

What did you get in your english 1 class? I think there was a thread just a few days ago where someone said ucsd (I think?) was prickly if you don't have a b average between the english classes. I have no experience with it though, and if it is the case, no idea if that's a ucsd thing only.

The w's should be fine though, the uc's don't seem to care.

Don't worry bud, I actually had a C in BIOLOGY and I got into UCLA and Cal for biochem. I also had W's like you do. Just make sure the rest of your application is strong and finish your prereq classes.

Ws - UC don't care at all unless you have 10+ Ws

1 C in English - my friend got in UCB and UCLA with C and B in his English classes, however got rejected from UCSD

so don't worry about it too much... you have a high GPA and that's what they care about the most...
