Does anyone who still didn't get a decision?

Anyone who doesn't get deicison yet, what colleges did you apply?

Oh! and Carnegie Mellon is Rolloing decision? why some people get their decision already; the other not?

Do you know FINAL DECISION DATE?

i didn't get one and applied to only MCS

carnegie mellon isn't rolling admissions..the deadline is january first (but there are different deadlines for art students i think)

and i guess officially the final date we'll hear by is April 15th like they say on their website but they probably just say that late in case something happens where they can't get decisions out...it's just like everyone has been saying on the RD Decision thread...the letters are probably coming out in batches. don't assume anything until you actually have a decision in hand or online.

I haven't gotten a decision either. I applied to TSB and SCS about a week before they were due (12/23), my folder was pulled in mid January, yet I have not received anything from CMU since February (and according to their page nothing has been sent since then). My stats suggest that SCS should be a safe match, and I liked my app, but this is getting me really worried (what with all the talk of a 2nd batch of rejects). If anyone knows when we might hear from CMU, it would be much appreciated.

I applied to only SCS and haven't heard anything as yet.

CIT- nothing whatsoever

applied to MCS, CIT, and SCS, havn't heard back yet

I still don't have my letter, but I checked online. I got into MCS! So the second batch is not all rejects.

Though now that I read the rest of the information, my letter was supposedly sent out the 22nd like everyone else's and is just being slow...so maybe there are batches?

I applied to tepper and HSS and still havn't heard anything

got into CIT, SCS, and IS

applied to SCS only, still nothing

Same, I'm feeling that if you haven't heard yet, you're not in... the only people who have seem to have gotten in are acceptances.

applied to Tepper and HSS, haven't heard anything (no packet, nothing online either). i live in singapore. i applied 12/29ish, so pretty late. my friend in hong kong already got his packet yesterday, and i filled in the fedex priority service request form..so it shouldn't take that long. it said folder bulled on 10 jan, 2007 on my status check..but they didnt have my transcript till 22 jan, so that doesn't make sense..they could NOT have made a decision by then. i think it'll help if we show our stats, cuz then we can sort of figure out if 2nd batch = rejects? or has anyone heard of someone who has already been rejected? cuz then we will know for SURE that it's not a trend like this: 1st batch = accept 2nd batch = waitlist/deny. cuz i'm hoping beyond HOPE that it's not. xx

yeah but the thing is, why would they wait this long to tell you that you're rejected? it's not like they're trying to practice common courtesy. you'd think that if they already made all decisions, they'd inform all the people they've finalized decisions on as soon as possible. there's no point in telling rejects later that it's a no. :\ just my 2 cents, correct me if i'm wrong.

applied to CIT-ece and SCS

nothing

applied to Tepper and CIT, havent heard nothing.... even the online one
so hopefully ill get something tomorrow

Applied for HSS, heard nothing

Somebody wanted people to post their stats, to see if people who haven't gotten a decision are probably in the waitlist/deny category, so here it goes:

Decision: I'd like to know.

So what do you guys think? Judging by these stats, should I get into SCS?

duh u should get in...which gives me hope that this second batch is not all rejections...btw i looked at my "where am i in the process screen" and it doesn't even say that my decision notification has been sent out yet...probably a rejection...

i personally think CMU is a great match, maybe even sort of safety for you. but no top school is a safety for anyone. but yeah, i see no reason why you wouldn't get accepted. (you've received absolutely nothing to this date?)
