I'm debating between adding AP Psych to my senior year schedule, or Moral Philosophy. Honestly, the teacher for psych sucks, and although I'm interested in both, I think I could get a higher grade in moral philosophy. Would it be worth it to take AP psych? or do most colleges know that it's basically a joke.

Who cares. Take the one you want to take. If a college doesn’t respect your taste in courses, why would you wish to attend it?

AP Psych is better than taking a regular elective. AP Psych is not only an AP class (which does hold some weight), but it’s an academic elective. You want mostly academic electives, not electives that say, “I wanted an easy schedule.”

Take whichever class you actually want to take and not whichever “looks good.” As stated above, who cares?
