Does AP Scholar with Honor count as an Award with points for UCSD and Other UCs?

<p>Does UCSD or other UC campuses give “points” for AP Schoalr with Honor? Thanks.</p>

<p>I don't know offhand, but I would assume the answer is No since a LOT of high schools in California do not offer many (if any) AP courses and offering bonus points for such an award would discriminate against those (mostly poor, inner city) high schools.</p>

<p>I am a National AP Scholar. Surely that counts as an academic achievement. My friend has a black belt in tae kwon do -- and clearly that is a recognizable extracurricular achievement. So, I am wondering, how does this factor in the UC applications evaluations?</p>
