Does Applying "Early" Give Any Advantages?

I understand that some schools offer Rolling Admissions, but what about for the schools that don’t? I’m applying to several schools Early Action, so will it make a difference if I submit my Common App on November 1st instead of, oh I don’t know, October 26th?

I doubt 4 days will make a difference even at a rolling admissions school.

I was more concerned about whether it would cause admissions officers to view an applicant more negatively. Would applying at 11:00 on November 1st be a red flag?

I am hoping the applications review would start only AFTER the cut-off. Is that not so?

Many admissions counselors travel the month of October and likely aren’t reviewing applications until Nov, so as long as as you meet the deadline it largely doesn’t matter when you submit

I was at an info presentation session w/HYP and UVA. The H rep said: not in the slightest. No one else blinked an eye and they went to the next question. There’s your answer.
