Does being a legacy help with Skidmore acceptance?

Hi, I’m looking at skidmore as one of my top choices, and I was wondering if being a legacy would give me a “one up” in the application process. My family doesn’t go generations back, but my father is a Skidmore alumnus. What are my chances of being accepted?

For reference, here’s my profile

  • 3.7 weighted GPA, 3.83 UW
  • 2 honors classes (we don’t have APs)
  • 31 on ACT, 11 on writing

    -2 years of ceramics
-5 years of Spanish (Spanish literature level)
