I'm in in-state CA resident applying for four different majors at four universities.

(in order of where I would rather go)
CSULB - Information Systems
CSUF - Computer Science
CSUSB - Computer Systems
Cal Poly Pomona - Business Information Systems

By the end of this semester, I'll have 53 transferable units. CSULB has contradicting information on whether a transfer student is required to have 60 transferable by Spring, or is after Summer is okay. I will have 60 after summer, for sure. (Not what I'm here to discuss.)

My GPA is around a 2.5. Definitely not the greatest; took the "C's get degrees" attitude mistakenly and did only what was necessary to pass. Since this major is impacted at most universities, I'm primarily curious if there are any other Veterans here who had a similar situation and can attest they were admitted.

If not, any other input would be useful. Looking to know whether veteran status (which IS a box you check during application) is considered for admission. People I have spoken with in real life don't seem to know much on the topic, though state schools certainly provide a lot of assistance to Veterans so it seems pretty likely it would help.

Thanks for your time.
