Does Being an Eagle have Benefits for Colleg?

Actually, I can defend BSA and attack it to. BSA has many accomplishments done overall with community services and fundraisers and spending time to help those who are in the south at that time rebuild from the Hurricanes that came through. BSA is overall nice people I must say. But the issues I think is, on this thread people are upset that these young men get to earn scholarships from actually making it to Eagle. Let’s not forget after earning 21 Merit Badges and earning hours and years in leadership they don’t get it handed to them by only a project. They still have a board of 8 people that still have the final say on if this person becomes an Eagle.

Now the problem I have with BSA was allowing girls in a historic all boys organization that the founders of that organization only made for men and boys. I have a issue with that, that’s why I ask if it was worth it because most people who earned Eagle have mixed feelings about allowing girls in an all boys organization just because girl scours didn’t have lots of benefits from from the Gold award like an Eagle does.

Boy Scouts aren’t goody goody either, everyone has a transition to make from their past to their current self and I can gaurentee you that most of the people in this world wasn’t born with a halo over their heads and Angels as body guards. Boys Scouts/Eagles prove their transition to their current state in their board of reviews.
