Does Being from an under represented state help me?

<p>I'm from kentucky and want to transfer to somewhere like NYU or George Washington Big and Urban will this help me and any ideas on more schools???</p>

<p>Yes, it could.</p>

<p>As for other suggestions, if you like the big cities, try Fordham’s Rose Hill campus. It’s located in NYC, only a short train ride from Manhattan, but has an actual campus (lots of green, and buildings that have been compared to Hogwarts).</p>

<p>Thanks for the tip! and actually I have been thinking of Fordham (they sent me an email waiving my app fee when i was doing freshman apps but parents madem me go to college 10 minutes away first semester) but do you have any reason to say Rose Hill over Lincoln Center?</p>

<p>Both campuses are nice. Most people tend to prefer RH though. </p>

<p>Rose Hill has more of a campus feel (the quads and the pretty buildings and whatnot), and a wider variety of majors. It’s surrounded by lots of fun things too - like the zoo and botanical gardens.</p>

<p>It’s personal preference though. Lincoln Center is more urban.</p>
