If i applied to a school (LMU) senior year of high school and i was waitlisted, would they know i was waitlisted when i apply as a junior transfer? Do you think it could affect me negatively having already been waitlisted?

Also, i know UC schools primarily accept in state transfers but does an out of state student have a better chance being accepted at LMU?

Waitlisted mean they didn’t want to reject you. It means that you were qualified to attend and they would have liked you to if they had room. That is not a negative. But, sorry, I don’t know if that effects transfer at all. Likely not, they will look at your record over the past 2 years primarily.

Very few systems operate like the UC’s do so don’t compare. Maybe someone will know more about LMU, I don’t even know what school that is.
