I was on the website and read that Berkeley requires a GPa higher than 3.4 for OOS applicants. Is this true? This seems disappointing because I really wanted to apply to Berkeley.. I have a learning disability and read that the admissions consider that. My GPA is a 3.3UW and a 3.83W with an upward trend.

Do you mean a s a transfer or a freshman? Requirements IN state for freshman are a 3.0, but that doesn’t even begin to get most students in. Requirements aside, here is the typical profile;

Historically, there is more detail available for UCLA admits, but I bet they have much in common. A student with a “fully weighted” GPA below 4.0 seems to have about a five percent chance of being admitted.

Make sure you review this;Perhaps this is where you got the 3.4 requirement.
