Does Binghamton have an admitted students day?

Does Bing have an admitted students day? I can't seem to find anything online, except that they apparently had one up until 2008.

If there is one, does anyone know the date? Thanks.

Last year it was in early April, after all the RD decisions went out.

@yankeesfanatic Thank you!

Hello I work for the admissions department here at Binghamton as a Student Ambassador. Feb. 16th is the Binghamton Scholars admitted students day. April 5th and 6th is Open House weekend for all admitted students.

BingUStudent… do Scholar invites come at a different time than the acceptance letter or would it have been in there? Thanks.

@BingUStudent I have a question about the open house because I just got a letter today saying it was February 16, and it didn’t mention any other dates, but I am not a university scholar, so is it just a regular open house?

I am not totally sure if invites will be sent out or not but I will assume that you will be sent emails concerning Open Houses. February 16th will be the first open house where students who were accepted via Early Action and students who were selected as BU Scholars will be invited. However anyone can attend.Additionally, the April Open House will be for all students who have been admitted, whether they are transfers or freshmen for the Fall 2014 semester. As the dates approach nearer, more information should be distributed.

So when do we find out if we got into the scholars program? On the website it sais invites are sent early January, so does that mean if I havent heard I havent gotten in? (I got in EA but thats all I’v heard so far)

Yes, does anyone have more info on the scholars program?

Hi I’m a scholar. I found out after I accepted my place at Binghamton. I think they MIGHT have changed it so you don’t need to accept to get a scholars offer, but I’m not positive. It definitely didn’t come with admissions, though.

edit; just checked the website, it says “Entry into the Binghamton University Scholars Program is by invitation-only, will begin in mid to late January, and continue until all spots are filled.” So it definitely sounds like they changed the notification process, oops. Good luck!

I received an email today stating that accepted students weekend is this coming weekend, April 5 and 6, but when I click the link for registration it goes to a dead page. How can I register for the SUNY Binghamton Accepted Students day?

Register here: https://binghamton.edu.185r.net/Event/page2.php?e=156</a> Here is the agenda: http://www2.binghamton.edu/admissions/visit-binghamton/spring2014-open-house.html</a></p>

My daughter received an email that mentioned Admitted Student Open Houses that are scheduled beginning March 29 but I am not able to find any info on the binghamton.edu website. How can she register for one of the open houses?
