I am a Chem major with a Biochem emphasis and a minor in music. I APed out of intro level bio and went into an upper level Gen Bio course for one semester. I will take two semesters of biochem my junior year, but otherwise may not have time to take another bio course before I graduate. I've been studying bio on my own for current research projects (mainly genetics) and for the MCATS (I'm going to take them in about a year or so), so I'm not worried about that.

However, every medical school requires 2 semesters of GENERAL bio with lab and many don't take AP credits. They rec. biochemistry with lab, but it seems like they view that separately from the bio req. Does anybody know if one semester of biochem can count towards the general bio req?
