i just got waitlisted at WashU this weekend and i cant help but wonder if it was because i really wasnt that into it. the most interest i demonstrated was getting on their mailing list.
but with bowdoin i requested an interview, met with them when they visited my school, am on the mailing list and have been carrying on a nice conversation with my admissions representative after i asked him for help regarding choosing EDII (i decided not to). will this help my case?

Can’t speak for Bowdoin, but just wanna say showing interest is important for washu

Question C7 of the Common Data Set lists the criteria Bowdoin considers for admission. Their latest submission, for 2011-2012, says demonstrated interest is not considered. However, if the student has had an interview, that is considered.
