<p>I don’t see marching band listed under the music department. Do they have a marching band, pep band, etc. or just ensembles?</p>
<p>Also, how is the school spirit, in general?</p>

<p>No marching bad…no football games to perform at, as no football team.</p>
<p>There is no Marching band, but the great thing about Brandeis is that if you value an activity enough you can start it yourself. Plus there are plenty of opportunities for musicians elsewhere.</p>
<p>School spirit in terms of sports is lousy. The campus at large does not go to the games. That being said the athletes are a very close knit group. They have a lot of bonding time. You can always see them sitting together in the dining halls after practice. Additionally the sports teams themselves aren’t bad and are pretty well funded.</p>
<p>There is a lot of enthusiasm about academics. Things such as panel discussions and club events are well attended.</p>
