With RISD?
I was recently attending an art school for fashion design, and one of the reasons I decided to stop attending art school is because I realized I wanted an actual education that will make me more well rounded instead of simply learning a trade right off the back.

I know that you could cross register at RISD, but do they have a specific joint program where you can get two BAs, one in a liberal art major and the other in a design major?

yeah, this is the first year they accepted students to it. Do some research, you'll find more details.

yes. there's a 5-year joint degree program between Brown and RISD. The freshmen entering this fall is the first class of the joint program. They stay in RISD during the freshmen year completing foundation studies of RISD then in Brown during sopho year.. Last three years are upto individual choice. You have to get admission from both school AND admission from the joint program committee. So it's vary selective program. visit: Brown-RISD Dual Degree Program

interesting. very interesting, so it's not like doing to Bachelors in different things. it ends up being a ba and a bfa in your design major.

it can't be like a ba in philosophy and a bfa in design?

Yes, it can be a degree in Brown from any department, I would guess, and a BFA from RISD. Follow basket's link and read up on the program.

thanks once again.
