Does Brown University Superscore the SAT?

I looked on the college board and it said they use highest section version 1. which is really similar to version 2 and I don't really understand.

Yes, Brown U superscores the SAT. However, I think that the difference between V.1 and V.2 is that V.1 may look at your other scores, while V.2 only cares about your highest superscore. Basically, V.1 is a little more harsh. Something like that.

Wait, what? What does this mean?

What do you mean by this?

what are v1 and v2?

V1 and V2 are Version 1 and Version 2. Apparently, colleges have different ways of superscoring.

here this has all the information from the collegeboard I was just confused on the versions. Thank you!

also do you think I should retake the SAT if I first got:

M 670/ w 720/ cr 650

then got:

M 650 / w 680 (did poorly on the essay 8 blahegenjvej)/ cr 770

so singluar high: 1429/2100, superscored is 1440/ 2150

I was aiming for a 2200+ and think I could get it especially with practice this summer/ learning the specific math problems I know I struggle with…is it worth it ?

WOW, that’s an amazing improvement in CR. I’m jealous. If I could do that…and this is the part where I sob.

A 2100 is pretty good. I can’t give very good advice on whether or not you should take it again or not though. Since you only took the SAT twice, it should be okay, but if you don’t want to spend a lot of time studying for SATs and want to do something else instead, do that something else.
