Some colleges (such as SJSU) only request transcripts from applicants whose self reported GPA meets the threshold GPA Does anyone know if Cal Poly works this way or do they just request transcripts from everyone regardless of their self reported GPA?

This is actually what I’m worrying about because they haven’t requested transcripts from me yet even though I’m well above the G.P.A average for my major. I’m not sure if this means they have no intention of admitting me or if they’re just going to accept me and ask for my final transcript.
I called them and they said that they require transcripts from everyone just to check GPA before admitting. My GPA isint that great so what you are saying could be the case. Good Luck, I hope you get admitted!
@jamiehuynh85 Same here. I have 3.4 GPA for hospitality major and I haven’t requested transcripts as well. What’s that means?
Maybe they don’t request transcripts from overqualified applicants.
I have a 3.9 GPA and I am applying for psych. They haven’t requested mine yet either, but I know all of the UC’s only request them after they have accepted you. I think I read somewhere that Cal Poly does request them but I’m not sure when or if they request them of everyone. We should probably just keep checking the portal.
