Does Caltech reject international science olympiad medallists in the domestic pool?

I'v heard Harvard does this kind of shady stuff. What about Caltech?

Infrequently if ever. Never that I know of.

That's because Harvard sucks.

What examples are we talking about here? People have "heard" all kinds of things; what verifiable information do we have?

:)
1) We should be able to verify that visitors cannot find decent parking spots near Harvard ....?

2) Most of my best friends who were seniors last year went to Harvard
and I am known to keep bad company....

<<quality contribution="" to="" the="" discussion="" ends="" ....="">> :D</quality>

Actually it has been MIT apparently according to posts on CC from the
past that sinned with USAPHO medalists not Harvard from what I
recall from my lurking years...and almsot nobody tries to mess with
IMO members ...they are demigods or lunatics depending on your
point of view

They're both.

I met this kid in middle school that finished high school calculus curriculum in 8th grade (BC and some numbers theory or something).

I see this guy and I just feel the genius coming out of him...or maybe the insanity?

In our modern world insanity is genius.

This has really nothing to do with the topic, but I heard Feynman smoked pot and was on acid trips all day, or something.

Anders Kaseorg(sp?) and Eric Price were both IMO and IOI gold medalists. I think they both got rejected from Harvard.

try to keep names out... that's private information which they should probably decide to publicize or not on the internet. (but i am not arguing that it is against any rules -- just not very decent)
